Dominguez had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Compton Early College Rising Phoenix as they made off with a 20-1 win. The Dons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by ten runs or more this season.

Isaias Villanueva looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Davon Brimm, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Ryan Flores also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Dominguez kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.

Dominguez pushed their record up to 5-1-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Compton Early College, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dominguez will challenge Paramount at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
