Romulus comes up short despite Karma Jones-Johnson's dominant performance

It was a good run, but the Romulus Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell to Cass Tech 57-51.

When it comes to explaining why Romulus lost, one person who can't be blamed is Karma Jones-Johnson. Despite the final result, she scored 21 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The contest was Jones-Johnson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Sa'Ryah Roberts was another key contributor, scoring eight points.

Romulus' defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Cass Tech, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Romulus will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Robichaud at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th. Robichaud is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Cass Tech's road trip will continue as they head out to face East Kentwood at 3:00 p.m. on January 6th.
