The Lathrop Mules will venture away from home to face off against the Plattsburg Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lathrop is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
Lathrop fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Cameron on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 6-5. While the Mules didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Dragons 1-0 in the first period.
