Flag Football Recap: Julianna Richman Leads Midtown's Defense on Tuesday

Midtown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 19-6 to the Therrell Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while the Panthers are ranked 45th).

Midtown didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Julianna Richman led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

Midtown's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Therrell, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Midtown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-0 win against Mount Paran Christian on the 13th. As for Therrell, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-0 victory against McNair on the 18th.
