Baseball Recap: Albany Comes Up Short

Albany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pierz Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-5 on Tuesday.

Albany now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Pierz, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Albany will host Little Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pierz, they will venture away from home to take on Pequot Lakes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
