After a string of three wins, Mauldin's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Easley Green Wave by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Mavericks have suffered since March 28, 2024.

Mauldin's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Easley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
