Baseball Recap: Hanceville's Win Ends Eight-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hanceville). They were the clear victor by a 20-2 margin over the Fultondale Wildcats on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bulldogs with their most commanding win of the season.

Hanceville's win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3. As for Fultondale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hanceville will take on Fairview at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hanceville will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Fultondale, they will face off against Woodlawn at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
