Wellsboro waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Towanda Black Knights 5-0. The match marked Wellsboro's most dominant victory of the season so far.

They hit Towanda with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jacoby Strang (2), Jonathan Carl (2), and Coen Tennis.

Wellsboro's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Towanda, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Wellsboro will head out on the road to take on Northeast Bradford at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Towanda, they will host Athens at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Athens have yet to allow a single goal through five games this season, a streak Towanda will look to end.
