Volleyball Recap: Mount Anthony Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mount Anthony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hartford Hurricanes. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Hurricanes when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mount Anthony wouldn't go down easily and took Hartford into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-11, 25-18, 21-25, 15-10.

Mount Anthony's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Hartford, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Mount Anthony will be playing in front of their home fans against Berlin/New Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hartford, they will take on Mt. Abraham at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
