Lovelady's and Latexo's game on Thursday was close at halftime, but Lovelady turned on the heat in the second half with 41 points. The Lovelady Lions simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Latexo Tigers 65-36. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Lions had established a 27 point advantage.

Lovelady's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-16. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 21.8 points. As for Latexo, their loss dropped their record down to 17-17.

Lovelady will have a chance to go back-to-back against Latexo: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
