Basketball Game Preview: Jay Royals vs. Holmes County Blue Devils + How To Watch

Jay is 0-3 against Holmes County since December of 2024 but things could change on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Royals will get right back to it and host the Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. Jay is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

On Monday, Jay didn't have too much trouble with Gulf Breeze as they won 45-30. Given the Royals' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Dolphins are ranked 394th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Holmes County strolled past Laurel Hill with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 63-45.

Holmes County's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Jay, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.

Jay came up short against Holmes County in their previous meeting back in November of 2025, falling 53-49. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Blue Devils' Jacee Bowers, who shot 46% from the field to rack up 27 points and eight boards.
