Basketball Recap: Tullahoma Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

A well-balanced attack led Tullahoma over Central Magnet in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. The Tullahoma Wildcats were the clear victor by a 75-50 margin over Central Magnet. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Tullahoma to victory were Austin Tinnon and Xavier Farrell. Tinnon went 13 of 17 on his way to 33 points and eight boards, while Farrell went 8 for 18 en route to 18 points in addition to six assists and four steals. Farrell's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khani Johnson, who went 5 for 10 en route to 10 points.

Tullahoma pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.1 points per game. As for Central Magnet, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-20.

Tullahoma will challenge Lawrence County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tullahoma knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Lawrence County likes a good challenge. As for Central Magnet, they will take on Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
