Baseball Recap: Schlarman Takes a Loss

Schlarman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Westville Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hilltoppers of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Schlarman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Westville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Schlarman will venture away from home to take on Cissna Park at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westville, they will head out to challenge Paxton-Buckley-Loda at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
