Senior plays football and basketball at Lake Shore High School (Angola, N.Y.).The Woodlands (Texas) junior varsity football team had a chance to win its first game last week but instead chose compassion.
It's customary to take a knee when the game is delayed for an injured player, but The Woodlands did it to concede an opportunity to win against Tompkins.
People are still talking about the decision coach David Colschen and his players made in the finals seconds with Tompkins holding a 29-28 lead.
