Football Preview: Cocoa Tigers vs. Apopka Blue Darters        
        
		
             The Cocoa Tigers will face off against the Apopka Blue Darters at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Cocoa is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 35  points per game  this season.
 Cocoa's upcoming  match probably won't be as stressful as their last, when they took on another nationally ranked opponent: Norland, who was ranked 50th  at the time (Cocoa was ranked 27th). Cocoa took  a  33-14 bruising from Norland on Friday. That makes it the first time this season the Tigers have let down their home crowd.
 Despite their  loss, Cocoa saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Jayvan Boggs, who picked up 107 receiving yards and a touchdown, was perhaps the best of all. Boggs' receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 107  receiving yards dating back to last season.
 Cocoa didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Anthony Williams and  Javion Hilson. Hilson also  sacked two  sacks, which is notable because Cocoa is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  two  sacks, but 1-2 otherwise. Another thorn in Norland's side was  Tyion Jacobs, who made 13 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
 Meanwhile, Apopka ended up a good deal behind West Orange last Friday and lost  25-7. The Blue Darters have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Cocoa's defeat  ended  a  12-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 3-3. As for Apopka, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-3.
