Softball Recap: Lawrence North Takes a Loss

Lawrence North lost against Brownsburg back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 10-2. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lawrence North saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaida Wheat, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Wheat has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

Lawrence North's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Brownsburg, their record is now 13-8.

Looking ahead, Lawrence North will take on Pike at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on an 18-game losing streak. As for Brownsburg, they will challenge Noblesville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Millers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
