Boulder City faced Basic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Eagles came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won five in a row.

Boulder City's offense was headlined by Preston Van Beveren and David Zwahlen, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Samuel O'Shaughnessy and his nine assists. Van Beveren was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.
