Hanover extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 14-7 in the process. They skirted past the Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers 6-4. This was payback for the Bears, who suffered a 5-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Jack Lobb made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Finn Ware, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Hayden Avard was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs.

As for Hollis-Brookline, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 13-4 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered against Hanover since April 20, 2018.
