For the second straight game, Eastmark will face off against ALA - Gilbert North. The Firebirds will head out on the road to  challenge  the Eagles  at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Eastmark has five straight  victories, ALA - Gilbert North has 27 straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Tuesday, Eastmark got the win against ALA - Gilbert North  by a conclusive  19-3. Considering the Firebirds have won eight matches by more than six  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.

 Jillian Wade made a big impact no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-4. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-high in  RBI (three).
 In other batting news, Eastmark let  Bella Gomez and  Ella Larned run wild. Gomez  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3, while  Larned  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. That's the most  runs  Gomez has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Tristan Raso, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI.
 Eastmark  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as ALA - Gilbert North only posted  an  OBP of  .250.
 Eastmark pushed their record up to 13-6 with the  win, which was their seventh straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for ALA - Gilbert North, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.
ALA - Gilbert North's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Eastmark has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .455.
