The LaVergne Wolverines were the 52-49 winners over the Riverdale Warriors when they previously met last month. On Friday? They had no such luck. It was close but no cigar for LaVergne as they fell 49-46 to Riverdale. If the result catches you off guard, it should: the Wolverines were the far and away favorite.

LaVergne is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-10. The victory bumped Riverdale's record up to 6-18.

LaVergne will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Stewarts Creek. Like LaVergne, Stewarts Creek is looking to wash their mouths of the taste of defeat after falling 76-56 to Siegel. Riverdale will stay at home against Blackman today. Riverdale isn't favored, but they just beat the odds this past matchup, so don't count them out.
