Basketball Recap: Wheeler Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Wheeler had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against Concord Academy by a score of 53-45.

Wheeler got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isabela Tineo out in front who dropped a double-double with ten points and 17 rebounds. Those 17 boards gave Tineo a new career-high. Ashna Jayaraman was another key player, putting up 16 points and seven rebounds.

Wheeler's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Concord Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Wheeler nor Concord Academy have any future games scheduled.
