On Wednesday, Annapolis Area Christian needed a bit of extra time to put away Indian Creek. They put the hurt on Indian Creek with a sharp 16-10 victory. Annapolis Area Christian's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Jacob Cresanto made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Cresanto was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

In other pitching news, Noah Draper looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
Back at the plate, Annapolis Area Christian got a massive performance out of Tyler Rochon, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave Rochon a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Roman Cobb, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
Annapolis Area Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Boys Latin entered their tilt with St. John's Catholic Prep on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Vikings. Considering the Lakers have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
PJ Martino made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over 4.1 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Martino was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base.
In other pitching news, Cayden Musick looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Mark Windle was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Colin Barrett, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.
Boys Latin's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Annapolis Area Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.
