Central Cabarrus piles up the points against West Cabarrus

Recap: Central Cabarrus Vikings vs. West Cabarrus Wolverines
The Central Cabarrus Vikings waltzed into Saturday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat West Cabarrus 80-38 at home. Fans of Central Cabarrus have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Central Cabarrus had a senior duo take command as Carson Daniel scored 24 points along with 7 assists and 6 steals and DJ Kent Jr. dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was Daniel's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Josh Dalton, who scored 13 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Central Cabarrus' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for West Cabarrus, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Central Cabarrus will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against South Rowan at 7:30 p.m. South Rowan is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. West Cabarrus will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Providence at 6:30 p.m. on December 5th. Providence is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
