Basketball Game Preview: Rapid City Central Cobblers vs. Yankton Bucks/Gazelles

Rapid City Central is on a 12-game streak of home losses, Yankton an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Saturday. The two teams will face off at 12:30 p.m. without much rest, having both just played. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rapid City Central lost 51-28 to Harrisburg on Friday.

Meanwhile, Yankton came up short against Stevens on Friday, falling 68-42. While losing is never fun, the Bucks/Gazelles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Raiders are ranked 22nd).

Yankton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Rapid City Central, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-16.
