Soccer Recap: South San Francisco Comes Up Short

South San Francisco's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Carlmont Scots by a score of 1-0. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Scots: they've now lost six in a row.

South San Francisco's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Carlmont, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South San Francisco will take on Menlo-Atherton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Menlo-Atherton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season. As for Carlmont, they will face off against Sequoia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Carlmont is facing Sequoia at the right time seeing as Sequoia is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
