Softball Recap: Kelly Catholic Comes Up Short

After flying high against Frassati Catholic last Monday, Kelly Catholic came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against The Woodlands Christian Academy Warriors on Wednesday, falling 18-3. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Abigail Brown was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Kelly Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15-2. As for The Woodlands Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season.

While Kelly Catholic had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
