Volleyball Recap: Ridgeview Comes Up Short

Ridgeview and Strathmore squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Ridgeview had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Spartans. If the Wolf Pack were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Spartans when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Ridgeview was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Strathmore's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13, 25-17.

Ridgeview's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Strathmore, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season.

Ridgeview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Strathmore, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against California City at 6:00 p.m.
