See the Freddy Sparks save the day for his team.

Freddy Sparks certainly gave South Florence (S.C.) the spark it needed Friday.

Socastee had the ball and held a 44-40 lead over the Bruins with just under 2:30 remaining. The Braves' running back attempted to catch a low pass and kicked the ball in the air as he rolled to the ground.

And Sparks was ready.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker exhibited excellent concentration and snared the ball out of mid-air and raced 40 yards for the eventual game-winning touchdown.

Clutch.

Sparks' pivotal play ignited the 47-44 victory.
