Fox Tech came into Wednesday's match having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Sam Houston Hurricanes with a sharp 6-3 win on Wednesday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-1.

Fox Tech's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-13. As for Sam Houston, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
