Soccer Recap: Healdsburg Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Healdsburg can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kennedy Eagles on Wednesday. If the Greyhounds were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to them when the teams met back in February of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Healdsburg's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Kennedy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Healdsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kennedy, they will square off against Newark Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Newark Memorial will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Kennedy surely won't give up without a fight.
