Football Recap: East Buchanan Comes Up Short

The matchup between East Buchanan and North Platte on Friday hardly resembled the 13-7 effort from their previous meeting. The Bulldogs fell 34-27 to the Panthers. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Dylan Armstrong continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Platte, rushing for 200 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Armstrong is now averaging an impressive 117 rushing yards per game.

East Buchanan is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for North Platte, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

East Buchanan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 35-6 win against Lathrop on the 26th. As for North Platte, they have also already played their next contest, a 38-20 victory against Penney on the 26th.
