League recap: Kingston's Mccoy delivers best pitching performance from past week

Mineral Area - Small's top pitcher this week was Matt Mccoy. He won two games and struck out eight batters.

Clay Allgier was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .500 average, three home runs and six RBIs. His Arcadia Valley team went 1-1.

The Tigers, the league leader in stolen bases this season with 62, added to their lead in that category with 19 more steals over the past week. Given the green light by manager Shannon Purvis, Collin Tedford has racked up 11 steals on his own this season for Arcadia Valley.

Allgier clubbed zero home runs this week to lead the league. His four home runs on the season place him at second in the league.
