Baseball Recap: Marmion Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Marmion waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the IC Catholic Prep Knights by a score of 6-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cadets also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Charlie Zebig and Ethan Flores did most of the damage at the plate: Zebig went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Flores went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Those two stolen bases gave Flores a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emmit Collins, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Marmion's record is now 19-11-1. As for IC Catholic Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 8-17.

Marmion will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair will be back at it again later today.
