Basketball Recap: Emerson Comes Up Short

Emerson and Columbia Christian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Emerson had to settle for second. They took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbia Christian Crusaders. The Pirates just can't catch a break and have now endured eight losses in a row.

Emerson's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Columbia Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Emerson nor Columbia Christian have any future games scheduled.
