Softball Recap: Hornbeck Falls to Leesville in First Game of Season

Hornbeck kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Leesville Wampus Cats, falling 12-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

The victory was the third in a row for Leesville, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hornbeck will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pickering at 5:00 p.m. on March 10th. As for Leesville, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on LaGrange at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
