Basketball Game Preview: Hillside Hornets vs. Durham Charter Lions

The Hillside Hornets will challenge the Durham Charter Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hillside will be strutting in after a victory while Durham Charter will be coming in after a loss.

If Durham Charter heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Hillside took over last week. The Hornets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-53 win over E.E. Smith on Tuesday. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Golden Bulls recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Durham Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 62-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Heritage Leadership Academy.

Hillside's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Durham Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
