Newton's match on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Everything went their way against the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Newton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Mt. Carmel with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Evan Holder, Holden Barthelemy, and Henry Will.

Newton's win bumped their record up to 14-4-2. As for Mt. Carmel, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

Coming up, Newton will be playing in front of their home fans against Salem at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Salem will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Newton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mt. Carmel, they will venture away from home to square off against Harrisburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Carmel are facing Harrisburg at the right time seeing as Harrisburg are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
