Basketball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison lost against Lane back in February of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Edison were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 44-43 to the Lane Knights. The matchup marked Edison's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Lane, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

After both having extra time off, Edison and Hillcrest will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. As for Lane, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jamaica at 5:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
