Softball Recap: Ottawa Takes a Loss

Ottawa was the 5-2 winner over Kaneland when they last played one another on April 14th, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell just short of the Knights by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday.

Ottawa's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Kaneland, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Ottawa will be playing at home against Seneca at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Fighting Irish will roll in looking for their 23rd straight victory, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kaneland, they will take on Huntley in a tournament on Friday.
