            Soccer Recap: Washington vs. Mt. Vernon        
        
		
        
        
             After failing to score in their last  game, Washington made sure to put some  goals up on the board against Mt. Vernon  on Thursday. They never let the Mt. Vernon Wildcats onto the board and left with  a   4-0  win. The result was nothing new for the Hatchets, who have now won nine matchups by three  goals or more  so far this season.
 They hit Mt. Vernon with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Marc Talleyrand, 
 Luis Revolorio, 
 Roosse Bergil,  and 
 Kevin Bonilla.
 Washington's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Mt. Vernon,  they are  on  a  ten-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-13.
 The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Washington will take on Vincennes Lincoln at 8:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Mt. Vernon, they will face off against Heritage Hills at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Heritage Hills' defense has only allowed 0.4  goals per game  this season, so Mt. Vernon's offense will have their work cut out for them.
