Basketball Game Preview: Sullivan Redskins vs. Okaw Valley Timberwolves

Sullivan hasn't had much luck against Okaw Valley recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Sullivan Redskins will host the Okaw Valley Timberwolves at 7:30 p.m.

Sullivan is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. The matchup between them and Argenta-Oreana didn't end well, with Sullivan falling 66-52.

Meanwhile, Okaw Valley had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They blew past the Knights 73-39. That 34 point margin sets a new team best for the Timberwolves this season.

Okaw Valley has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a massive bump to their 16-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points per game. As for Sullivan, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

Sullivan didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Okaw Valley when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 55-49 victory.
