Softball Recap: Thornton Comes Up Short

Thornton played against Crete-Monee on Thursday and lost via forfeit.

Thornton's loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Crete-Monee, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-8.

Thornton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-8 defeat against Rich Township on the 5th. As for Crete-Monee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-10 loss against Blue Island Eisenhower on the 30th.
