Soccer Game Preview: San Marin vs. Roseland University Prep

The San Marin Mustangs will take on the Roseland University Prep Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

San Marin headed into their last game having not scored more than one goal for four straight, but Novato let them put that streak behind them. San Marin never let Novato onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Thursday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Mustangs' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, Roseland University Prep made easy work of Kelseyville on Monday and carried off a 5-0 win. Considering the Knights have won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Roseland University Prep is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 47 goals over those eight games. As for San Marin, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-4.
