Volleyball Recap: Bonner Springs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bonner Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Shawnee Mission South Raiders. The Braves were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-5.

Chasitee Sambol paced Bonner Springs' offense, picking up five kills. Sambol got some help from Halli Gruver and her nine assists.

Bonner Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Bonner Springs has already played their next matchup (against Shawnee Mission North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Shawnee Mission South, they will face off against Mill Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Raiders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
