After losing to Sharyland the last time they met, Anderson decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Rattlers 2-1 on Saturday.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Anderson got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 16-25, 15-11.

When it comes to explaining why Sharyland lost, don't look at Pamela Pena. Despite the final result, she had 12 kills and one block. Pena is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Anderson picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 5-7. As for Sharyland, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-5.

Anderson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against McAllen on the 23rd. As for Sharyland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Nixon on the 23rd.
