Baseball Game Preview: Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights vs. Middlesex

The Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights will square off against Middlesex at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Buckingham Browne & Nichols was able to grind out a solid victory over Cushing Academy, taking the game 10-6.

RYAN CLAY was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was CORTEZ HEYWORTH, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Middlesex beat Beaver Country Day 8-3 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Middlesex.

Ryan Heldenbergh made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Heldenbergh was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Luke Warzynski, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run and three runs. Bear Tibbitt was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

The win got Buckingham Browne & Nichols back to even at 1-1. As for Middlesex, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
