Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Smidt Tech). Everything went their way against the Rise Kohyang Tritons on Thursday as they made off with a 27-9 victory. The win continues a trend for the Grey Wolves in their matchups with the Tritons: they've now won eight in a row.

Smidt Tech pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.3 runs over those games. As for Rise Kohyang, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Smidt Tech is set to take on their familiar foe Los Angeles Leadership Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Rise Kohyang will challenge rival Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
