Volleyball Recap: Fountain Valley Takes a Loss

Fountain Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to The Vanguard School Coursers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coursers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Fountain Valley may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 14 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14.

Fountain Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for The Vanguard School, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.

Coincidentally, Fountain Valley and The Vanguard School will both be playing James Irwin the next time they take the court. The Danes will host the Jaguars at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Coursers will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
