Fairfield is 9-1 against Peebles since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Fairfield will venture away from home to take on Peebles at 5:00 p.m. Fairfield's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Peebles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

It was a proper cat-fight when Fairfield challenged Waverly on Saturday. Fairfield beat Waverly by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Alyssa Bales was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and one double.

Meanwhile, Peebles came up short against Adena on Saturday, falling 13-1. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Peebles saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaelyn Musser, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Musser hit this season.

Fairfield's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Peebles, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything went Fairfield's way against Peebles when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Fairfield made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fairfield since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
