Volleyball Recap: Workman Comes Up Short

Workman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pomona Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Workman's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Pomona, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Workman is set to take on their familiar foe Edgewood at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pomona will challenge rival Ganesha at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
